So what is 3-D Teaching and Learning?

There are a set of beliefs and practices that make a setting 3-D. Learning does not only take place on two dimensions but learners are surrounded by their learning. It permeates teaching and learning. It is changing the face of a classroom. It involves technology, realia, interaction, community, friendly environments... The list goes on and is only limited by imagination, creativity and what you think is possible. What are your thoughts on the topic?
